(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Zara Phillips has described her wedding day as "amazing".
The granddaughter of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II got married to long-term love Mike Tindall in Scotland last weekend.
The royal sportswoman explained that her favourite part of the nuptials was to be surrounded by her and new husband Mike's nearest and dearest but admitted that she felt nervous on her big day.
"The day was amazing and to have all of your friends there in one place, for both of us, was the best part of it," she was quoted as saying. "Everyone looked really serious when I walked in."
Zara also said that she would have liked to go on honeymoon right after the nuptials, but explained that work comes first for the down-to-earth couple.
Both successful sportspeople, Zara is set to compete in the Gatcombe Park horse trials later this week while rugby star Mike is likely to feature in an England rugby match against Wales next Saturday.
"Unfortunately both of us do have quite busy lives so it's going to have to wait a bit for a honeymoon, but it is quite nice to go back to work as well," she said.
"We're kind of missing the quiet period where we can catch up and have some sleep. It's back to work and that's what we do." (C) Cover Media
