Twitterati's are never in the mood to forgive or forget and they are always ready to troll up whoever makes a mistake. This time their target turns out to be the veteran film-maker Karan Johar.
Recently, KJo announced Parineeti Chopra's casting in his upcoming film 'Kesari' but with a pic of lead actor Akshay Kumar that he already shared past week. Twitter just bashed Karan for sharing the update but without Parineeti's pic and sharing Akshay's pic instead.
However, for covering it up Karan re-announced Parineeti's casting (this time with her picture) and said: "Ok guys that was meant to be an image of Kesari whilst announcing the lead actress of the film. Clearly Twitter is quick to jump and attack! Apologies!!!!! This is to re-announce the wonderfully talented Parineeti Chopra as lead cast of Kesari."
Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar are the co-producers of 'Kesari' which is reportedly based on the 'Battle of Saragarhi'. Earlier, Salman Khan was also a co-producer in the project but he backed off. Moreover, this period drama film will be helmed by Anurag Singh.
The 'Golmaal Again' actress also responded to this re-announced tweet by saying ''So excited to be a part of this legendary journey!!! Thankyouuu @karanjohar @akshaykumar @DharmaMovies #AnuragSingh #Kesari''.
Meanwhile, Akshay is all prepped up for the release of 'PadMan' on January 25 which will clash with Deepika Padukone's 'Padmavat'. Akshay's other two release of 2018 are '2.0' and 'Gold' by Rajnikanth and Excel Entertainment respectively.
While Parineeti also has two releases of this year 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar' and 'Namastey England'.
