'Hasee Toh Phasee' duo Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra is back again on silver-screen with Ekta Kapoor's next film titled 'Jabariya Jodi' that was earlier named as 'Shotgun Shaadi'. Both Sidharth and Parineeti will be reportedly playing a Bihari couple.

A source close to the makers revealed,"The movie is based on pakadwa vivaah, the makers felt that this was an apt name. In Bhojpuri, jabariya means zabardasti, so the title refers to a couple who is forced to get married. The two actors have also shot for the posters before leaving for Lucknow, so they should be out soon."

Balaji Motion pictures twitter handled shared the pic of film's clap board which was kept in an aarti thaali closer to lord Ganesha's portrait. The tweet read ''Filming begins for @ParineetiChopra and @S1dharthM starrer "Jabariya Jodi".#JabariyaJodi #ShootBegins@ektaravikapoor @ShaileshRSingh @RuchikaaKapoor.'' 

Sid expressed that he is elated to work with Parineeti again. While speaking about Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion pictures banner he said, "Balaji will always be special because, till date, my biggest film (Ek Villain, 2014) is with Ekta. That’s why the thought of calling her up about this script earlier this year was obvious. She’s good at presenting and marketing a film. We have had great energies which have worked for us in Ek Villain and we are going to amplify it further with this movie."
