Bollywood newbie Kriti Sanon who made her debut with Tiger Shroff in the film 'Heropanti', is all set to carry forward her journey.

The actress, we hear is being considered to be casted opposite Sidharth Malhotra in a film directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane.

The filmmaker who is famous for direction in his films like 'Udaan' and 'Lootera', which have gained cult classic status, wanted a fresh pair for his next film, which is why he thought of Kriti who is just one film old in the industry.

Motwane had signed Sidharth long back but was taking his time to finalise the female lead. However, he was very impressed by Kriti in her debut film and hence he approached her for the same.

The newbie is excited to bag such a coveted offer but the deal hasn't been inked as yet. She is busy working with Akshay Kumar, while Sidharth is currently shooting for his mentor Karan Johar's film.

As and when the two get free, the filmmaker plans to meet them and make a schedule for the film.
