Pearl Academy of Fashion grabs a trio of projects under UKIERI

September 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), the leader in Indian fashion and design institute has been awarded a trio of projects under UKIERI (that expands to UK-India Education and Research Initiative).

Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF) doesn’t need an introduction. It is a leading institution of both fashion and design institute with an international feel. The institute has over 1600 students in places like Delhi, Chennai and Jaipur. Outside India PAF has spread its wings to the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka and UAE.

Now, the PAF will collaborate with the famous Ravensbourne College of Communication and Design for the exploration of design and to supply the chain both across India and UK. It will also work on a project with the Adam Smith College from Scotland. Another project includes building a collaborative collection of work links between the Scottish as well as the Indian sector of education in the field of latest media. Finally, the Pearl Academy of Fashion has a project with the world-famous London College of Fashion for comprehending skills that are needed by graduates so that they can bring in sustainability inside the fashion-dom.

The projects also aim to address the challenges of embedding both professional as well as technical skills right into the innovative curriculum of fashion via the development of staff exchanges.
