While everyone was happy to see Amitabh Bachchan as Sarkar with the third installment of the film which boasts a good starcast too, fans have to wait now a bit more longer as the makers have postponed the release date of the film due to some post-production work. The film which was expected to release on April 7, 2017 will now release on May 12, 2017.

The official Twitter handle for Eros Now tweeted, "We, at Eros along with @SrBachchan , @RGVzoomin and Wave took a mutual decision to postpone the release of Sarkar 3 to 12th May 2017!."

Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the film also stars Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam, Jackie Shroff, Rohini Hattangadi, Manoj Bajpayee and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles.

Remember 'Sarkar 3' will now hit the theatres on May 12, 2017.
