(Cover) - EN Showbiz - 50 Cent doesnt want to get in the middle of a girl fight between Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim.

The 35-year-old rapper is a huge fan of both female artists, and has been observing the war of words between newcomer Nicki, 26, and 35-year-old hip hop veteran Kim over the past months.

The pair have been making digs at each other in songs and during interviews, and 50 Cent says he has no plans to act as a mediator because he wouldnt know where to place himself.

"How do you get in the middle of a girl fight?" he laughed.

The rap star admits the feud between the pair isnt actually anything to worry about though, as he finds competition within the industry completely normal. For 50 Cent, Nicki represents all that is exciting about the current hip hop scene, although he has always admired Kims music.

"When I look at them actually competing, I don't see anything," he explained in an interview on Shade 45's G-Unit Saturdays.

"I think it's harmless. It adds an interesting story and other interests to them, 'cause Kim is the original, I believe, and Nicki is the right now." (C) Cover Media
