Kangana Ranaut has proved her acting prowess over a period of time. From an angelic one in Vikas Bahl's 'Queen' to hare-brained one in Aanand L Rai's 'Tanu Weds Manu', she has earnestly entertained us for years.

On her birthday, we take a trip down memory lane and recall her award winning roles so far. Not once but twice she portrayed a role of a gangster's lady love, in her debut 'Gangster' and 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai' starring Ajay Devgn. Critics were gushing about the light eyed beauty for portraying these complex roles with ease and the required attitude.

In Anurag Basu's 'Life in a Metro' she showcased her chase for true love in the world that believes in materialism and built that instant connection with the people in metros.

She set the ramp on fire and redefined style with Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Fashion'. She swept away 7 prestigious awards for her role in 2009.

The sweet looking actress put herself to test by taking up the challenge of stepping into a negative role in Rakesh Roshan's 'Krrish 3' and her wacky character in 'Tanu Weds Manu' compelled the makers for a sequel, which will release soon.

And lastly her blockbuster of 2014 'Queen' for which the actress is still bagging awards and receiving appreciations, simply confirms that this North Indian beauty is all set for a long innings in Bollywood.
