December 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): There is a bad news for the fans of Star Ones popular show Geet- Hui Sabse Parayi! Your favorite Dev aka Abhinav Shukla is quitting the show very soon. However, there is no information about the actor, who will replace him.

Since last few episodes, we have hardly seen Dev playing any role and his character has almost vanished from the scene as the concentration has again shifted to Geet and Maan relationship. Moreover, the show has added two more new characters in the form of Maans sister Anwesha and Naintaras brother Arjun.

Abhinav has confirmed the news saying that he has already put the papers and leaving the show on a happy note. He expressed his desired to quit the show some time back and they have allowed him to leave without any tantrum. The main reason for the actor leaving the show is, Devs role has nothing much to offer now even though his different shades have been portrayed earlier with much importance. Above all, the handsome actor has reportedly got a very important role in Colors popular show Na Aana Iss Des Laado after the leap.

The sources also indicate that Perneet Chauhan, who essays the role of Meera, is also planning to quit the show. She has also reportedly put her papers and the production house will soon take a decision on this.

Well, the fans will be definitely missing Abhinav and Perneet after they leave the show.
