Ajay Devgn announcing a film on Tanaji Malusare, a commander in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja's army increased the curiosity amongst his fans. In September 2019, the actor Instagrammed an image as the film went on floors, he wrote, "Taanaji Shoot Begins@TaanajiTheFilm"
Now, the actor has announced the release date of the movie in his latest Instagram post. Ajay wrote, "Start the 2020 new year with me, as Tanhaji releases on Jan 10." However, what caught our attention was change in the spelling of the film's title. The title of the movie is changed from 'Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior' to 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior'.
Sources suggest this slight change in the title is due to numerology and astrological reasons, one stated, "They (producers) often come to me for consultation for their film titles. We had suggested that now since the film is opening in 2020, they change the title."
And why not Ajay has also dropped the letter 'A' from his surname few years ago. The movie also stars Saif Ali Khan as an antagonist.
