(Cover) - EN Fashion - Alexa Chung has revealed that time pressures can cause her to make fashion faux pas.

The model-and-television-presenter, who was spotted on Wednesday giving her support to Miuccia Prada at the final day of Paris Fashion Week, wished to explain away mistakes made in the public eye.

Alexa explained any lapses in judgement are usually due to time constraints rather than a lack of style.

Yeah I do look at pictures and assess my outfit. I do make fashion mistakes, but theyre usually to do with time pressures. I hope people dont think I just sit around all day planning what to wear that evening, the 27-year-old told the British edition of Elle magazine.

Alexa also explained how she gets inspiration for her outfits, citing random members of the public as her source. Unfortunately not everyone is a fan of her creations, with some thinking her style is too geeky.

Sometimes Ive seen someone rad in the street and I try to assemble my version of their outfit. Or Ill have watched a movie that inspired me, usually from the 1960s. Sometimes its just whats clean and available, she stated. (C) Cover Media
