(Cover) - EN Fashion - Sophie Ellis-Bextor feels ill every time she looks at her favourite dress because shes never been able to wear it.

The singer splashed out on a piece designed by Stella McCartney years ago, but it has remained in her closet ever since. She feels awful whenever she looks at it as it cost her 800, but she loves it so much she cant bear to get rid of it.

The most expensive thing Ive ever bought was a Stella McCartney for Chlo dress it was 800 and Ive never worn it which make me feel a bit sick, she admitted. It is absolutely beautiful but pretty much as soon as I bought it I fell pregnant and not its too small for me!

The singer has two kids with her husband Richard Jones, and says pregnancy wrecked havoc with her sense of style. When she was expecting Sonny, six, she started wearing bizarre combinations of clothes which clashed, and Richard also worried about her penchant for baggy items.

Richard asked why I was wearing a tent whenever I got dresses, she laughed to Closer magazine. I was a lot more together when I had my second son Kit last year. (C) Cover Media
