Rubbishing rumours that appeared in a section of the media that he had a fight with Anushka on the sets of ‘Rebel’ following which the actress walked out of the project, Raghava Lawrence says he is on good terms with the actress.

Remember Anushka was set to play the female lead in ‘Kanchana’, Lawrence's earlier directorial venture and she backed out at the last moment, after she reportedly found that the script had nothing big for her in terms of performance.

Says Lawrence, “Yes, Anushka is no more part of ‘Rebel’ but the reason is not a rift between us. In fact, she had given us bulk dates but we could not use it due to the film industry strike. Now that we are ready to resume the shoot, she is unable to accommodate dates as she is busy with other commitments. This is the only reason behind Anushka opting out of rebel.”

‘Rebel’ is an action entertainer directed by Raghava Lawrence, with Prabhas playing the lead. After completing the film, the choreographer-actor-director will start the Hindi remake of ‘Kanchana’ and a sequel to it in Tamil and Telugu.
