Amala Paul has denied reports that have appeared in the media section which claim that she has been paid One crore for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film starring Jayam Ravi in the lead. The film is to be directed by P. Samuthirakani of 'Sambho Shiva Sambho' fame.

Says the 'Bejawada' and 'Love Failure' actress, 'I don't know how such baseless reports crop up. I receive only what I deserve and my producers know what to pay me. Others should stop spreading rumours about my salary.'

Meanwhile, the yet to be titled Jayam Ravi-Samuthirakani movie is touted to be a revolutionary subject which has the hero playing a double role for the first time.

In January, Amala Paul had three releases in Tamil 'Kadhalil Sodhapuvathu Eppadi' ('Love Failure' in Telugu), 'Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal' and 'Vettai' ('Bale Thammudu' in Telugu).

Well, we hope they're just rumours that will fade away.
