Nagarjuna will play the role of a non-resident Indian (NRI) in his upcoming film to be produced by Kamakshi Movies. Nayantara will play his love interest in this film, which will be directed by Dasaradh.

According to the director, 'the story revolves around an NRI who comes to India for the first time in search of his roots. How his life changes after coming to his motherland is the crux of the film.'

Producer Sivaprasad Reddy is optimistic about the film's success in the box-office. 'Family entertainers by Nagarjuna have always been welcomed by the masses. Also, Nagarjuna and Dasaradh are already a hit combo.' he says.

Nayantara is said to be happy to share a screen space with Nagarjuna again. Besides, this film, she is also acting in two other Telugu movies at present, one with Gopichand and another with Rana Daggubati.
