Actress Ameesha Patel has been in the industry for over a decade now, and after this long tenure in the Hindi film industry, the actress launched her own production banner in the year 2011.

Though the actress launched her banner Ameesha Patel Productions in 2011, she is making her debut movie under the banner this year. Titled 'Desi Magic', the film is being directed by Mehul Atha and stars Ameesha, Zayed Khan, Sahil Shroff, Randhir Kapoor, Lillete Dubey and Ravi Kishan in the lead roles.

Ameesha will be playing a double role in the film, which will be shot in the beautiful locales of Europe, Punjab and Mumbai.

She, who has been working hard, expressed that the team have been working on the script for over a year and are extremely happy with the output.

More actresses are now venturing into production which is a good thing. Like they all say, "why should boys have all the fun."
