'Andhadhun' that opened in China on April 3, 2019 in approximately with 5000+ screens has created waves on box office overseas as well. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox pictures created waves even when it released in India. 

The movie crossed 100 crore mark within first week of its release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#AndhaDhun stays super-strong on the crucial Mon, after an *extended* weekend in #China [opened on Wed]... Crosses $ 15 mn [₹ 💯 cr]... Also crosses India *lifetime biz* [Gross BOC] in *6 days*... Mon $ 1.45 mn. Total: $ 15.25 mn [₹ 106.09 cr]."

Andhadhun also beat megahit 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' collection in China, which didn't well at the box office, as the movie barely collected $11 million. 

The makers are keeping their fingers crossed as it might break the record of Rani Mukerji starrer 'Hichki' collection that went on to collect 150 Crore in China. 

Besides this, Bollywood movies that have been successful in China are 'Dangal', 'Secret Superstar', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Hindi Medium', 'Hichki', 'Toilet- Ek Prem Katha'. 

'Andhadhun' went on to win several awards at Screen Awards, Films of India Online Awards, Asiavision Awards, Zee Cine Awards, Filmfare Awards, News18 Reel Movie Awards and BizAsia Online Awards held in 2019.
