The latest buzz in the industry is that Venkat Prabhu has approached Anushka Shetty to be a part of his upcoming film 'Biriyani'. It's being said that the actress will replace Richa in the film!

However, Anushka's spokesperson denied the reports, saying, "She hasn't been approached for Venkat's film. But, she is listening to a couple of fresh scripts, and might sign a few soon."

The spokesperson continued, "Anushka's quite excited with her line-up of movies in Kollywood. She has finished 'Alex Pandian'. Her other film 'Thaandavam' has released today. She is looking forward to starting work on 'Singam 2' and she also has Siruthai Siva's 'untitled' next with Ajith. She's carefully reading through scripts now and will sign on a few films soon".
