The director Vasanthabalan's next, 'Aravaan', after 'Angadi Theru', is taking shape fast. Produced by Amma Creations T Siva, the film has Aadhi, Pasupathi and Dhanshika in lead roles.

If sources close to the unit are to be believed, the film is scheduled for a Deepavali release. "Vasanthabalan's team is working day and night to ensure that the film will see the light of day on the day of lights," they say.

A huge set, resembling the 17th century, has been erected around a hillock near Madurai, where some important flashback scenes are currently being shot. 'Aravaan' is inspired by the popular Tamil novel 'Kaval Kottam' penned by Venkatesan.
