'Ishaqzaade' turned out to be the perfect launch pad for Arjun Kapoor as the movie did wonders for the young actor and Parineeti Chopra at the box office. The extremely patient Arjun is in no rush and is being meticulous with picking his projects. Besides, the actor has no qualms when leveraging dad Boney Kapoor and at times his friend and mentor Salman Khan for their expert advice on the projects that come his way too.
Arjun, in his own words stated that he shares a friendly relationship with Sridevi, who has always been respectful of his work and is also a part of his father's life. But the actor expressed that it his mom late Mona Kapoor, whom he misses the most every moment of his life.
On Mother's Day, the actor expressed his soft side as he said that he is an extension of his mother and he gives complete credit to her for his success in life.
He further went on to share that it was 'Aurangzeb' which was the last film that she endorsed for the actor. Arjun feels saddened that his mom would not be here to share his success and that void will always remain in his heart.
Unlike the old school macho actors, who consciously made the effort to keep their emotions under wraps in real-life, kudos to Arjun for coming out in the open to express his feeling with his fans. We must say that this 'Ishaqzaade' sure won our hearts with this act.
