Ashley Greene is looking for a man who has "drive".

The actress revealed her dating preferences and listed ambition as one of the most desirable qualities in a potential partner.

But with her movie career taking off, the Twilight star also admitted that looking for a serious relationship isn't her priority right now.

"What's most attractive to me is someone who has the same amount of drive as I do, someone who's equally busy. But I think that would be a tall order," Ashley told US magazine Lucky. "I'm so laser-focused on my career, because when you're dealt these cards, if you don't kind of run with it, then you're an idiot. You gotta take advantage of what you've been given."

Despite her success the star avoids getting too wrapped up in the Hollywood scene.

Ashley explained that she has learnt not to get distracted by the dazzling showbiz industry and remains grounded.

"It's all the glitz and glamour in Hollywood, and you want to be part of it. And the deadly thing is that you meet people who do have the money and do have fame and are in a position to not spend every waking moment working toward getting a job, and it's easy to feel like you can do it too, when really you haven't earned it," she said. "You can either socialise or you can study your script, and luckily I learned that pretty quick!".
