Filmmaker Susindran made his directorial debut with the film 'Vennila Kabadi Kulu' that made huge waves and was ennobled a trendsetting showpiece. Following this film, he shot to fame with a commercial hit movie 'Naan Mahaan Alla'. The film was produced by Karthi's home banner and spanned big collections for the producers of Cloud Nine Movies, who released the film.

He is now ready for the release of his next film 'Azhagar Saamiyin Kuthirai' that is based on a novel. The film has Appukutty and Saranya Mohan of 'Vennila Kabadi Kulu' fame, in lead roles.

Maestro Ilayaraja's musical score for the album has generated huge waves for the film. With 'KO', 'Vaanam' and 'Engeyum Kadhal' already making it big at the box-office, we will have to wait and watch whether 'Azhagar Saamiyin Kuthirai' will reach greater heights.
