He is one of the best actors anyone could ask for in Bollywood and Hollywood as well. His style, charisma and his awesome demeanour is what makes actor Amitabh Bachchan so appealing.

So when he was asked to do a small role in the Hollywood flick 'The Great Gatsby' by Baz Lurhmann, Big B readily agreed. But not many know that the actor has not charged a single penny for the same.

"My role is hardly that of a minute. A year-and-half ago, Baz Lurhmann called me and said he has a small role for me, which he felt was not worthy of me. He nevertheless asked if I would do it and I readily agreed. I did it as a gesture. It is not remunerative. I have not charged anything," Big B said.

Directed by Baz Lurhmann starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton and Isla Fisher in addition to Bachchan, the film is slated for a worldwide release this month.
