(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Bill Hader often irritates people by putting them off their peanuts.

The 32-year-old American actor is best known for his reoccurring role on hit US show Saturday Night Live, and has also appeared in movies including Superbad and romantic comedy Knocked Up.

Bill cant eat peanuts due to an allergy, and admits he can be a nuisance when in the company of fans of the popular snack.

Im one of those people, if the guy next to me opens up peanuts, Im like, Could you not open those up because Ill start dying. Ill just waste away in front of you and you dont want that. It really puts them off their peanuts, he joked to Empire.

The star has reason to be concerned though, as his allergy has seen him hospitalised in the past. Bill had an unfortunate experience after mistaking a peanut dessert for a chocolate one, and is relieved to have lived to tell the tale.

Im allergic to peanuts, and one time I ate by accident what I thought was chocolate ice cream but it was packed with peanut butter ice cream and I was sent to the hospital, he explained. (C) Cover Media
