(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Bill Rancic says his wife Giuliana "will win" her battle with breast cancer.
The E! News television host announced today that she is suffering from the illness although she is thankful it was caught at an early stage.
She has since received an outpouring of love and support from fans and other celebrities and her Apprentice winner husband has tweeted his appreciation.
"Thank you for all your love and support today," Bill wrote. "G is reading all your messages. She will win this fight, I PROMISE, and be back better than ever."
Her "E! family" also released a statement saying they were sending their "love and support" to Giuliana.
"[We] applaud her for sharing her recent breast cancer diagnosis in the hope that it will encourage women everywhere to take necessary and preventative measures," it read.
"Giuliana has chosen to talk about her breast cancer on E! News [Monday night] prior to her lumpectomy later this week," the E! statement continued.
"We are grateful that thanks to early detection Giuliana is expected to have a swift and complete recovery."
Celebrities took to their Twitter pages to wish the 37-year-old well.
"Take a second to send good wishes to Giuliana Rancic," her co-host Ryan Seacrest tweeted. "She's had a tough couple of days. We'll all be with you through surgery, Jules! Love you."
"I just want you to know I love you and that I'm thinking of you," her Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne wrote. "You are a strong woman and you're going to beat the s**t out of this cancer!"
"It puts everything in perspective," Bethenny Frankel said. "Giuliana and Bill, love and prayers are with you."
Giuliana revealed that it was when she was going through the process for her third attempt at IVF that a fertility doctor recommended she have a mammogram before trying for a baby again.
She said she was planning on having one when she was 40, but it was through the test that her cancer was found.
"I couldn't believe it," she said of her diagnosis. "I will be OK, because I found it early."
The star will have an operation this week, before starting six weeks of radiation therapy and remains positive about having a family with her husband.
"I'm not going to give up," she said. "Now I truly believe God was looking out for me. Had I gotten pregnant, a few years down the line I could have gotten sicker. So the baby saved my life.
"[Bill has been] unbelievable. The best thing about him is, he lets me cry when I want to cry." (C) Cover Media
