'Border 2' tells a different story: J.P. Dutta

After a whopping 16 years, director J.P. Dutta is back with the second installment of the 'Border' franchise.
 
While there was a lot of speculation over the sequel of the 1997 blockbuster, putting all conjectures to rest, the makers announced Sunny Deol and Suneil Shetty as two of the film's leads.
 
Talking about the decision to make 'Border 2', says director J.P. Dutta , "I felt like making another war film and 'Border 2' tells a different story. I was going through the history of armed forces when I came across the Battle of Shakargarh Bulge,  it was a story that needed to be told on celluloid".
 
The director does confirm that he faced more difficulty with this project than he did with the first film. 
 
"Permissions were difficult to acquire. There were several technical issues communicated to be by government officials. It wasn't so difficult and time consuming when I made Border".
 
'Border 2' will go on floors by the end of october.
