(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Bradley Cooper thinks his mom created his Hollywood hottest bachelor title by starting a rumour on the internet.

The 36-year-old movie actor is well known for roles in blockbusters such as The Hangover and The A-Team, and his mix of hunky looks and comedic charm have attracted female admirers across the globe. The star consistently features in Hollywood's hottest lists and regularly works alongside the most beautiful women in the film industry, including Rene Zellweger, Jessica Alba and Julia Roberts, but remains modest about his good looks.

Bradley believes that his reputation as a highly desirable male is down to a rumour created by his mother.

"I don't believe it when people say that I'm one of Hollywood's hottest bachelors. I reckon it's all down to my mom," he is quoted as saying. "She probably put all that on the internet and started that rumour. Thanks mom!"

Bradley appears to be currently enjoying his status as a single man as the star has reportedly split from Rene Zellweger. The Hollywood couple had been dating for less than two years when they reportedly decided to call it quits last week. Rumours of a split first surfaced in February when they both attended a pre-Oscar party but spent most of the night apart.
