(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Brandon Flowers says he finds it difficult not to curse despite being a Mormon.

The 29-year-old is currently taking a break from fronting rock band The Killers to pursue a solo career. The singer has been a Mormon since a young child and despite his rock and roll profession tries to abide by the principles of the religion, which includes no profanity.

I actually do make a conscious effort not to swear, yeah. Well, I try. Sometimes its difficult. When youre around the people that I tend to be around you pick up a few things that are hard to get rid of, he explained.

Although more comfortable within his religion since his marriage to Tana Mundkowsky in 2005 and the birth of his two children, Ammon in 2007, and Gunnar in 2009, Brandon does admit he still has the occasional lapse, sometimes to great effect.

I wouldnt say it makes it more satisfying when I do swear but when I do people tend to realise the seriousness of the situation, he said. (C) Cover Media
