Britney Spears open to Gaga duet

25th August 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears has hinted she would like to collaborate with Lady Gaga.

The singer is currently working on new music, but has not given many hints about the sort of tracks she is recording. She has revealed she is a huge fan of flamboyant Gaga, who has previously performed with stars including Sir Elton John and Beyoncé Knowles.

Gaga recently became the most followed celebrity on social networking website Twitter, an honour previously held by Britney, but Britney insists there are no hard feelings. “I'm a big fan of hers. Anything's possible!” She told Pop magazine when asked about working with Gaga.

Britney appears dressed as a manga character – a type of Japanese cartoon - on the publication’s cover, wearing a white wedding dress, veil and gloves. She poses in a field full of flowers, and is seen donning a red backpack in another image.

Japanese artist Takashi Murakami worked on the shoot, and Britney had fun transforming for it. “I loved working with Takashi. I especially liked how he took high-end fashion and incorporated it with Japanese manga,” she said. “We looked at a lot of characters and artwork before we shot, so I could get a feel for what he was looking for. I was in Japan on my past promo tour, and I loved it.” (C) Cover Media
