Brooke Mueller has reportedly agreed to re-enter rehab following her cocaine arrest last week.
The 34-year-old ex-wife of Charlie Sheen was arrested last weekend in Aspen, Colorado and charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanour assault.
It was first reported that the troubled mother-of-two was refusing to enter an in-patient facility for the nine months she needs to do, as advised by medical professionals.
However, it is now being claimed that Brooked has finally admitted she has "major substance abuse problems" and has agreed to get help.
Sources close to the star revealed to US website TMZ that "she was reluctant at first - but friends eventually persuaded her she needed help and another stint in rehab was the only option."
Brooke's team is apparently "finalising the arrangements at an undisclosed treatment facility" which will be someone close to her Los Angeles home.
Brooke has two-year-old twin boys Bob and Max with Charlie. According to sources, the former Two and a Half Men actor will be looking after the children while Brooke is away "with some help from her parents".
Despite Brooke allegedly seriously considering rehab, sources are "fearful" she may change her mind at the last minute.
Brooke recently sought help for her addiction issues at an alternative treatment centre in Mexico.
