Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has checked out of rehab.

The Jersey Shore star had admitted himself into the Cirque Lodge facility several weeks ago to "get control of a prescription medication problem."

And he seemed to be in good spirits as he arrived at a nearby airport yesterday to catch a flight, TMZ reports.

The reality star smiled and took photos with fans as he walked through the building.

Mike will reportedly join the rest of the cast to film season six of the hit MTV reality show although it is unknown how he will cope as he is usually partying and drinking during the television series.

The 29-year-old's rep had said that the gym-loving star was also being treated for exhaustion because his hectic lifestyle had started to get too much for him.

The site claims that Mike had been repeatedly warned about his drinking, as far back as season two, by MTV producers and they threatened to replace him but he promised to get himself together.
