The gorgeous star has been dating baseball player Alex Rodriguez - also known as A-Rod - since last July and has been sporting an exceptionally toned figure of late.
The 38-year-old actress has always been fit, but friends say she is even more determined to maintain her super slender look as she approaches 40. The Hollywood beauty has been doubling her gym time and well as taking fitness tips from Alex, 35.
As she nears 40, Cameron seems to be even more obsessed with keeping fit. Shes in the gym five or six days a week twice what she used to do, a friend told Closer magazine. A-Rods body is rock hard and he often works out with her. She feels the more she trains, the longer she can hold back the ageing process. She knows that muscle tone is the first thing women lose as they age and cant stand the thought of looking soft and flabby.
Apart from her regular trips to the gym, the actress has always been a fan of outdoor pursuits. Cameron favours surfing above anything else, and is regularly spotted enjoying the sport.
She really goes for it in the gym and goes surfing twice a week when she can. It makes her arms really buff because of all the paddling and hauling herself up onto the board, the source added.
The Hollywood star works with trainer Teddy Bass and does a mix of lunges and squats, and runs three miles a day, five times a week. He confirmed last week that the actress prefers a toned physique to a softer look.
Cameron loves having a lean, strong body rather than a curvy figure, he said.
Cameron is intensifying her gym routine amidst reports that she and A-Rod are seriously talking about marriage. According to reports, the pair met with their legal teams at Soho House in Los Angeles last month to discuss a pre-nuptial agreement.
