Akshay Kumar's dream to help the families of martyrs takes shape

National Award winning actor Akshay Kumar announced his dream of helping the families of martyrs through a video couple of months back. In that video he talked about creating a portal through which common public can donate almost 15 lakhs to the families of the soldier who lose their lives while serving for the nation. He also said that necessary actions will be taken by him to create such a portal and as the nation celebrated CRPF Valour Day, Akshay on the other hand proudly launched the website bharatkeveer.gov.in at Vigyan Bhawan along with home minister Rajnath Singh.

A leading daily quoted Akshay's speech which reads, "Today, I am here between you not as an actor, but as the son of an Army officer. Our jawans fight them with all their heart and do good work. We need the support of 1.25 billion people to do good work."

Akshay shared the news on his Twitter handle in a series of tweets which read-
