Charlie Sheen is reportedly set to return to twitter as "he misses his fans".
The Anger Management star quit the social networking site in July after sources claimed he'd had enough of sharing his thoughts in short updates. The former Two and a Half Men star has now reportedly had a change of heart and plans to return to the seven million followers he left earlier this year.
"He misses interacting with his fans," a source tells TMZ.com. "...and really wants to talk to them about important things in his life."
Charlie quit Twitter after a 16 month rampage during which he shared crazy thoughts with his followers. He sparked globally trending catchphrases including #winning and #tigerblood when he went through the troubled period last year. This was following his sacking from US TV show Two and a Half Men. The actor posted his last Twitter message on July 13th along with a photograph from the cockpit of a plane.
"Reach for the stars everyone. dogspeed cadre. c out," Charlie tweeted.
The reason for Charlie's change of heart is reportedly due to an upcoming episode of Anger Management starring his famous father Martin Sheen. TMZ reports Charlie is so anxious about the programme that he feels twitter is the only place to share his feelings.
The source revealed to TMZ that if Charlie does take up tweeting again then this time he wants to try and keep his messages "professional".
