Cheran’s films always dwell on human emotions and the director gives only limited importance to technology. However, the changing times seem to have made an impact on the actor-filmmaker who has decided to make a 3D movie.

“Technology has changed a lot. While importance is given to 3D movies in Hollywood, Kollywood should follow the suit. I am planning to make one such venture,” said Cheran, disclosing his intent to make a 3D film.

Details of the project will be revealed soon, he said and added: “Technlogy is not a threat. It should be viewed as a boon to make our dreams a reality. At the same time, filmmakers should also concentrate on portraying human emotions.”

Meanwhile, Cheran is waiting for the release of ‘Muran’, in which he had shared the screen space with Prasanna, Nikitha and Haripriya. “It is a thriller film which will be racy from scene one. Director Rajan Madhav has given his best,” he says.
