(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Chris Rock reportedly asked a waiter to get him some allergy medication so he could drink a strawberry milkshake without having a reaction.

The American comic comes out in an itchy rash whenever he eats the tasty red fruit. It proves problematic for him as strawberries are one of his favourite treats.

Temptation recently got too much for Chris so he ordered a strawberry milkshake while at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, but came up with a novel way to curb his scratching.

When his poisonberry shake arrived, Chris handed the waiter 20 bucks to buy him some Benadryl [allergy medication] so he could eat the treat but beat the itch, reports National Enquirer.

Allergies are something Chris regularly talks about, and has even incorporated into his stand-up routine. He finds the concept of being unable to eat a certain food type hilarious, insisting it only goes to show how much many people overindulge in snacks.
