CM's advice to Tamil film industry

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha on Wednesday urged the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC) to work hard for the growth of the film industry in the years to come.

She was speaking after she inaugurated the Cinema Centenary Complex Phase I building of SIFCC, through video conferencing, in Chennai.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for Cinema Centenary Complex Phase II of the Chamber.

Recalling that she had earlier took part in functions conducted by the Chamber, Jayalalithaa, who was a popular actress in Kollywood, added that former Chief Minister C N Annadurai and M.G.Ramachandran had close association with the SIFCC.

She also assured to open the new Phase II building personally once the construction is complete.
