(Cover) - EN Star Style - A make-up artist has revealed the secrets to recreating Alicia Keys' dramatic eye make-up.

The songstress was spotted sporting a bold yet fresh look recently, opting for fuchsia pink lips, with dark liner enhancing her lashes and creating a cat-eye look.

Drawing the perfect eyeliner has a reputation for being difficult, but with these professional tips it doesn't have to be.

"Choose a liquid liner with a medium tip and [with a steady hand] drag the brush along your lashline from the inner to the outer corner. When you get to the end, follow your eye's natural shape and bring the line slightly up and out past your eye just a few millimetres. Feel free to go light at first, as you can always make the line bolder once you have the outline done," a make-up artist told American website UsMagazine.com.

The beauty professional has provided some easy-to-follow steps to recreate Alicia's hot lips. She has recommended using a concealer to prolong the wear of the lip colour.

"To copy the singer's pretty pink pout, opt for a long-wear formula. Skip the lipliner and instead trace the outline of your lips with a concealer to prevent the colour from bleeding. Slick on a candy-coloured hue, blot, and you're good to go!" she quipped. (C) Cover Media
