(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Crystal Harris decided to call off her wedding to Hugh Hefner after some "deep reflection" about their relationship.

Playboy magazine founder Hugh, 85, was expected to marry the 25-year-old Playmate model this Saturday. However, it has now been revealed that Crystal has moved out of the Playboy mansion and the pair are no longer planning to tie the knot. Crystal has confirmed she called time on the engagement after realising the romance wasn't right for her.

"After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef," Crystal said in a statement on her website. "I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time."

Hugh, who confirmed on his Twitter account that his ex-fiance had a "change of heart", has been comforted by his former partners Kim Conrad and Bridget Marquardt who have both been to visit him.

Hugh has denied rumours that he and Crystal argued over the weekend, prompting the blonde beauty to move out. "The reports that Crystal & I had a nasty argument', prompting her to call off the wedding, is untrue. There were no arguments," he wrote on Twitter.

A few hours before he admitted he was relieved Crystal had made her decision before they had got married and also revealed he is planning a movie night on Saturday which would have been his wedding day.

"The breakup is a heart breaker, but better now than after the marriage," he wrote. "Since we're not getting married on Saturday, I've scheduled a movie: Runaway Bride. Seems appropriate."

It has been reported that Crystal decided to end the relationship because she had grown frustrated with the money allowance given to her by Hugh and she was also keen to pursue a music career.

According to sources, the beauty was worried she wouldn't be able to make it as a singer if she was married to the star.

"Sources close to Crystal tell us she was fed up with the couple hundred dollar weekly allowance she got from Playboy," TMZ reports. "Crystal purely focused on launching her music career - even with the wedding just days away. Crystal felt like she couldn't be married to Hef and have a successful music career."

Rumours have also surfaced that Crystal has been secretly dating Jordan McGraw, the son of television psychologist Dr. Phil.

Hugh and Crystal announced their engagement in December. This would have been Hugh's third marriage. (C) Cover Media
