The British actor is best known for playing the title character in the Harry Potter movie franchise about the wild adventures at a school for wizards, adapted from the books by author J.K. Rowling.
The movie franchise is now coming to an end, with the final instalments Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One and Part Two, being released this month and in July 2011 respectively.
Daniels career is set to continue shining though, as hes lined up an acting role on Broadway, New Yorks iconic theatre district. The star had previously made comments suggesting he wont look for love while working on the production, although he has been quick to redress them.
No, no! That was to be filed under 'things I regret saying', laughed the star in an interview with E! Online.
No, if I meet somebody great then of course. I'm not gonna say, 'No, no, no, I have to be single!' No I'm not crazy. If I meet someone sure. No I'm not crazy."
In his theatre role Daniel will star in a remake of popular 1960s musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. The 21-year-old has landed the lead role of J Pierrepont Finch, a window cleaner who ends up becoming hugely successful thanks to reading a self-help book.
Daniel is said to be attending dance classes in preparation for the show, which is set to open at New York's Al Hirschfield Theatre next February. (C) Cover Media
