5th December 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dave Grohl says the Foo Fighters will make a triumphant return in 2011.

The 41-year-old lead vocalist has raised expectations for a return to form for the American group, as they put the finishing touches to their seventh studio album set to be released next year. The former Nirvana drummer has confirmed the band, whose last record Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace was out in 2007, will reappear after a four year break refreshed and better than ever.

Everybodys batteries are so recharged were just gonna come out with our wheels f**king whirring. Were gonna do as much as we can. We miss it. I miss being the singer in Foo Fighters. I miss standing at the lip of a stage looking at thousands of people sing along to The Pretender or Best Of You or Everlong or whatever, he enthused to Q magazine.

Dave is especially looking forward to returning to the stage and promises his fans a lavish extravaganza of epic proportions. He explained he has missed performing so much he is keen to play extended sets.

You know what Im looking forward to in 2011? Longer shows. I want to play for three f**king hours. I want to take that sh*t down, he added. (C) Cover Media
