(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dave Grohl claims that many people use Twitter because they can't make friends in the real world.
The lead singer of the Foo Fighters has joked that he is the "master" of the social networking site. Dave is currently in the middle of a North American tour with his band and often uses the site to keep his followers to up to date.
"A lot of people use Twitter as some sort of communication to the outside world because they can't make friends face to face," the rocker told Empire magazine. "I don't have that problem."
Dave has called himself "the master Twitterer of the Foo Fighters' Twitter". He insists he only posts messages on the website if he has something interesting to say.
"I don't tweet a lot of bulls**t. I don't wake up in the morning and tweet, It's a beautiful day, I'm going to take a s**t,'" he added.
The Foo Fighters have announced that they will perform their new single Walk from the album Wasting Light at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards on June 11. (C) Cover Media
