December 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Debutant director KR Mathivannan, who has assisted Shankar in many films, is now ready to release his first Tamil films Aridhu Aridhu. Mathivannan says that he has tried to highlight the point that no person has the right to destroy anothers life.
The director has roped in newcomers like Uttara Raj and Harish in the lead roles and Jaya Krishnan has produced the movie under the banner JK Creations. Mathivannan adds that his film tells the stories about violence and terrorism that hits the headlines almost every day now. He says that that he was disturbed with the thought people cannot come out of the streets without having the fear of losing their lives. He wants to focus the issue that we have much bigger concerns in life than caste.
Mathivannan informs that he has captured real location in his film to reflect reality. He has shot in Chennai, New Zealand and Australia. With a run time of two hours, the film will hit the theaters very soon.
The filmmaker adds that they have done meticulous rehearsals before they started shooting for the film. He is very keen to show the film to Shankar, whom he assisted in these years but as the director is busy with his projects, Mathivannan could not manage to show him his first work.
Aridhu Aridhu has music by Thaman S and it will release under Fivestar Audios label. We hope the director succeeds to impress the viewers as well as the critics with his first venture.
