To be a part of a successful franchise is always a great thing for any one and hence when the offer to star in 'Race 2', the sequel of the super hit 'Race', Deepika Padukone bagged the role without any second thoughts.

The actress who has already shot the film claims that it was a great experience for her. "It has been a great experience, 'Race 2' has been a wonderful journey for me and hence I am very proud of it. The film is not only an action thriller but also has glamour in it." said Deepika.

Despite of a choc-a-block schedule, Deepika is ready to go out and promote the film from all ends. "'Race 2’ is very important to me, and even its promotion is vital as well," added Ms. Padukone. The hottie will be sharing  the screen with Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham as she claims that working with both the said actors, added to her enjoyable experience in 'Race 2'.
