With the release of the first theatrical trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Don 2’ starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, the excellence of its first look caught the audiences' attention.
From the retro original ‘Don’ starring Amitabh Bachchan to its modern remake starring Shah Rukh Khan, the brand ‘Don’ has been famous for its catchy dialogues that has set trends in both the eras. Director Farhan Akhtar knows the value of this ‘trump’ card of the franchise. Hence he has come up with an innovative idea to promote his forthcoming film ‘Don 2’.
Farhan who has not only directed the film but also has written the dialogues of the film is planning to cash on the larger than life dialogues in the film. Now that the first set of dialogues from the film’s promos have caught people’s attention, he will at regular intervals release one-liners from the film that according to him are one of the major USPs of the sequel.
He even plans to launch special mobile applications through which the user will be able to have the ‘expected-to-be-famous’ dialogues at their finger-tips.
Looks like the director is getting some promotion cues from his lead star SRK who himself is a marketing guru.
