Nawaz penned his dialogues for 'Badlapur'

29th January 2015

Bollywood's talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has taken the road less traveled by opting for unconventional cinema and despite of it, the actor has achieved the desired stardom in Bollywood.

Nawaz, who plays an antagonist in Sriram Raghavan's 'Badlapur' was not given any dialogues by the maker. Instead, he was just briefed about his role in the film and the director wanted him to come up with spontaneous dialogues keeping in mind the requirement of the scene.

Director thought giving him dialogue would actually take away the essence of the scene, making it look over- dramatized.

Sriram said,"Nawaz was not given dialogues but only an overview. Before every shot, he would improvise his scene and structure his own lines, which ended up adding an interesting evil hue to his character."
