Edward Norton: My corn rows looked great

12th October 2010

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Edward Norton was unhappy sporting cornrows for his new movie because they were so tight.

The actor plays the title character Stone in the film, which tells the story of a ruthless convicts disturbing mental games with his correctional officer as he tries to get parole. Edward had to have his locks braided for the role, and wasnt prepared for how painful the process would be.

"It was a challenge," he is quoted as saying. "I had this wonderful woman from downtown Detroit, Crystal. She treated me kindly but once they were done it did feel really tight on my head.

The 41-year-old says the look shocked him when he first saw it, but he soon came round. By the end of shooting he had grown quite attached to the rows, although he isnt sure he would ever have them put it again.

It was really strange and uncomfortable for a while but it looked great. And I did eventually get used to them, he laughed. (C) Cover Media
