Ee Rojullo Movie Review

27th March 2012

Cast: Srinivas and Reshma

Director: Maruti

Ratings: 3/5

Small budget- Good movie...

At a time when top filmmakers spend more than Rs.75 lakhs only to shoot a song sequence, director Maruti has come up with an entire film, that too, a good one.

Ee Rojullo, with fresh faces playing the lead roles, relies heavily on its content and the performance rather than the money that is spent on the making; a case study for others to follow.

Srinivas (Srinivas) and Shreya (Reshma) are two people dejected by their respective lovers. They meet each other when they decide not to fall in love anymore. However, fate has some other plans which makes them lead a life together. How the youngsters, who are made for each other, fall in love after many twists and turns is what Ee Rojullo is all about

Srinivas has carried out the role of today's youngster very well, also proving to be a good performer. Reshma reminds the audience of Trisha and entertains with a decent performance. MS Narayana, Ambati Rambabu, Sai, Gavara Sekhar, Madhumani, Sankar Rao, Kanna, Venky, Bhargavi, Vishnu Priya, Bindu and Rakshita are also there who are a perfect fit for their respective roles.

Music by JB is cool and trendy, while J Prabhakar Reddy's cinematography adds value to the script.

Though there is a lag in the second half and some scenes are clichéd, Ee Rojullo announces the triumph of a good script. Kudos to Maruti, who has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues, besides wielding the megaphone!!
