(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sir Elton John has described watching his new son being born as indescribable.

The 63-year-old singer and his 48-year-old partner David Furnish welcomed their first child together on Christmas day in California a son named Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. The baby was conceived via surrogate, with Elton and David explaining the childs mother will remain anonymous.

Elton and David have now presented their newborn to the world in a magazine interview, where the crooner has revealed he was present at Zacharys birth and was completely bowled over with emotion at the time.

He shot out like a rocket. There just aren't proper words to describe that feeling. It's indescribable. It was just, 'We have a son'!" Elton gushed to the British edition of OK! magazine.

As a multi-millionaire recording artist and songwriter, Elton can afford to indulge his little boy with extravagant gifts, although he has no plans to do so. The musician knows being a loving father is far more important than showering Zachary with presents.

"I'm ready to have a child and lavish my love on our son and not spoil him," he added. (C) Cover Media
