(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Roberts is enjoying playing an "obnoxious" pop star in her latest movie.

The actress is Riley in Celeste and Jesse Forever. The movie is about a couple who are in the process of divorcing and try to remain on good terms while they both look for new relationships. The duo are portrayed by Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg.

Emma has enjoyed the whole process of shooting the picture, particularly as her character has been so much fun to get to grips with. "Right now I'm doing a romantic comedy called Celeste and Jesse Forever, with Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg and I'm obsessed with both of them, and I'm having the best time. I get to play a pop star," she explained.

"I'm kind of making my own [inspiration], I'm doing my own thing with her. She's very obnoxious but still likeable.

"Everyone is the film is hilarious on and off camera, it's a really great group to work with."

Although Emma hasn't taken tips from any one musician when it comes to playing Riley, she does have some favourite artists. At the moment she can't get enough of Lady Gaga, and recently bought her new album Born This Way. The titular track is her favourite although she's sure that'll change when she listens to the record more.

"I just bought Lady Gaga's new album, so I have that on repeat in my car. I don't have a favourite yet. I've listened to it twice in my car so they kind of run together," she told MTV. "Born This Way - I'm obsessed with." (C) Cover Media
